Our organization is currently seeking a Professional Driver:
Clean to moderate driving record No major accidents in the last 5 years Responsible, curious, respectful and professional Drive clients to their medical appointments in a timely and safe manner.
Stay professional.
Keep a clean vehicle.
Able to past a background check Follow all traffic rules, and laws.
Remain respectful, curious, professional, at all times.
No use of Drugs, Tabacco or Alcohol while working and operating the vehicle (including marijuana, non-medically prescribed pills or those that do not allow operation of vehicles when in use etc.
) Perform a daily inspection of company vehicle or personal vehicle Clock your hours of operation.
Select and schedule routes.
Follow all traffic laws Keep vehicle clean and take vehicles to proper shops for required maintenance - i.
e.
tire rotations, oil changes etc.
Knowledgeable with Google Maps, operate Android tablet to manage rides, other route programs (and the ablitity to learn.
) Assist wheelchair clients - pushing them up wheelchair ramp, properly loading and securing them into the van.
Able to drive in inclement weather if necessary - rain, snow, sleet etc.
Operate smartphone to check company email and communicate with clients and dispatchers.
Drive in a safe manner, utilizing defensive driving training, to take clients to their appointments on time.
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Possess previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner.
Have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable responsible individual.
Previously certified in Basic Adult & Child First Aid & CPR and Defensive Driving, preferred but not required.
